Prior to founding XCap Partners, Ken was the Asia-Pacific Head of Capital Markets Origination at Citigroup which includes all ECM, DCM, Acquisition Financing, and Structured Financing activities in the region.​

Ken has nearly 30 years of experience in Asian Capital Markets and has completed transactions in every active market across the region. ​

In 2014, Ken played a key role in advising on the NYSE listing of Alibaba which raised US$25 bn and is the second largest IPO in the world.​

Ken’s landmark equity deal experience includes: AIA’s US$20.4bn IPO, Sands China’s US$2.5bn IPO, Global Logistics Property US$3bn IPO, China Railway Construction’s US$2.3bn IPO, Melco’s US$1.3bn Nasdaq IPO, Sun Hung Kai Property’s US$1bn equity placement, LG.Philips LCD’s US$2.2bn equity offering, Hynix’s US$2.2bn equity follow on offering, over US$1bn of secondary equity placements for Esprit, and REIT IPOs for GZI, Suntec, and Champion from PRC, Singapore, and Hong Kong respectively.​

Ken has also advised on the structuring and distribution of a large number of equity-linked issuances which include: Exchangeable bond offerings for Hutchison into Vodafone raising over US$6bn, Korea Telecom's exchangeable bond offering for US$1.3bn, one of the first convertible offerings from a PRC company China Mobile raising US$690mm, Chartered Semiconductor’s US$575mm convertible issuance. Finally, he has pioneered the issuance of the first negative yield CBs in Asia for Quanta Computers in Taiwan.

 

Ken has advised Asian Governments on a number landmark privatizations including the US$1.3bn IPO of China Netcom, the US$7.377bn simultaneous placement of equity and convertibles for China Mobile, Temasek's US$1.5bn simultaneous equity and exchangeable bond offer into Singapore Telecom, US$1.6bn Privatization of Chungwha Telecom in Taiwan, and over US$2bn of TSMC ADR issuance for the Taiwan Government and Philips.​ 

Ken is presently the Co-Sponsor, President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Summit Healthcare Acquisition Corp (Stock Code:  SMIHU) which listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in June 2021 raising US$230 million.   

He holds a Bachelor in Commerce (Finance) from the University of British Columbia, and an Executive MBA Joint Degree between Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Peking University Guanghua School of Management.​

Aaron is currently  is an independent non-executive director of a local bank and a listed company.

Prior to this, Aaron was the managing director and head of the Hong Kong investment banking business of Barclays Capital.

Aaron had held senior positions in several major and international financial institutions including Citicorp, JP Morgan Chase and HSBC. He has a wide breadth of experience in corporate and investment banking as well as capital markets.

 Aaron was formerly the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Capital Markets Association. He is also a member of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Connected Transactions/Related Party Transactions Committee of the Hopson Development Holdings Limited.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and has obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from City University in the United States of America. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry in both Canada and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining XCap Partners,  Nancy was Managing Director in the Asia advisory team at Evercore where she gave strategic and financial advice to boards, shareholders, CEOs and CFOs on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, pre-IPO restructurings, IPOs, follow on offerings and privatisations.

 

Nancy has 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as private and public capital markets and has worked with clients across verticals including consumer, industrials, banking and financial services, media and technology, transport, logistics, utilities and education.

 

In addition to her banking experience, Nancy has held senior leadership roles in Hong Kong companies where she was responsible for strategy, financial performance, business transformations, investments and joint ventures, acquisitions, exits, corporate governance and investor relations.  She served on the executive committees and boards of portfolio companies and is currently a board adviser to founder/family-owned private companies.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy degree from the University of the Philippines and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Tracy has over 17 years of in-house and private practice experience in a broad range of capital market transactions (including Rule 144A/Reg S and SEC-registered bonds by way of public offering, private placement and retail offering, investment grade and high yield bonds, dim sum bonds, Panda bonds, Formosa bonds, EMTN and GMTN programme setup and drawdowns, hybrid securities and equity-linked bonds), liability management, structured finance, bilateral/syndicated loan financing with offshore and onshore security and corporate finance. ​​

Alexandra has 14 years of equity capital markets origination, advisory and execution experience coupled with significant client and investor relationships across Asia with a focus in China and Hong Kong.  Prior to XCap, Alexandra was the Head of Greater China Equity Capital Markets at Nomura. Before that she spent 8 years with Citigroup and almost 4 years with Bank of China International in Hong Kong.

 

Alexandra has originated, advised and executed on many Equity Capital Markets transactions including IPOs (Initial Public Offerings), follow-on offerings (placements, rights issue), block trades and private placements across Asia. Her experience has included many deals in the consumer, healthcare, TMT, real estates and broader industrials sectors.

 

Alexandra holds a Master of Arts in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Corporate Finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Prior to joining XCap Partners, Eric was the Head of Equity Capital Markets and Responsible Officer (Type 1 & 6) at China Industrial Securities International.  Before that, he held front-line management roles at various global financial institutions, such as Citigroup, Standard Chartered and ABN AMRO. 

 

Eric has about 20 years of origination, execution and distribution experience in corporate and investment banking.  He has advised entrepreneurs, issuers and investors on numerous public and private transactions, including Equity & Debt Capital Markets Fundraising, Real Estate Project Finance, Special Situations and Debt Restructuring as well as Mergers & Acquisitions. 

 

With a focus on Asia Pacific, particularly Greater China, Eric has served clients across TMT, Healthcare / Biotech, ESG and traditional industry sectors.  His issuance experience included equity and debt securities listed in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States. 

 

Eric holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration (Finance) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  He is a CFA Charterholder and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Terry has over 20 years of experience in M&A and capital markets fund raising.  Prior to joining XCap Partners, Terry was Managing Director and Responsible Officer (Type 1, 4 & 6) at CITIC Securities / CLSA.  Before that, he was a regional industry team head at Deutsche Bank and an investment banker at Credit Suisse and ABN AMRO.

 

Terry has advised on some of the most notable M&A and corporate finance transactions in the region, including Sinopec Marketing’s US$17.5bn private equity fund raising (largest ever in Asia), Swire/Cathay Pacific’s acquisition of Dragonair, HKExpress and a strategic stake in Air China, Suning’s acquisition of Carrefour China, CITIC Pacific’s privatization of Dah Chong Hong, Yili’s public takeovers of Ausnutria and Zhongdi Dairy, IPOs of China Duty Free, Chic Max, Chow Tai Fook, China Pacific Insurance, Prudential Plc., etc..

Prior to join XCap Partners, Yini was the Managing Director at Nomura Securities (HK) leading investment banking business in new economy  in China especially in TMT space.  Before that, she also held senior roles at China Renaissance Securities, Barclays, Citigroup and UBS.

 

Yini has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry mainly in investment banking. She has originated and completed many landmark transactions.

A Singaporean based in Hong Kong since 1998, has 26 years of Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) experience in Asia Pacific (“APAC”). At Natixis for 16 years, Sukhdeep was responsible for CIB coverage and origination for South China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. Prior to Natixis, Sukhdeep was in two start up CIB’s at Centre Solutions (1998), backed by Zurich Financial Services Group and Nexgen Financial Solutions (2003) backed by Temasek and Caisse des Depôts et Consignations (CDC), the largest French State-owned bank.

 

Prior to banking, he was an Artillery Officer in the Singapore Army. Sukhdeep received his officers commission from the Royal Military College, Australia. His military career included  command appointments as a Battery Commander, Senior Tactics Instructor at the School of Artillery and secondment to the Foreign Service as a Protocol Officer.

 

As a regional Senior Banker, Sukhdeep formulated and implemented APAC strategy over 125 institutional clients in APAC, comprising Corporates, UHNW Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Non-Banking Financial institutions. He is comfortable with the variety of cultures in APAC, conversant in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi and basic Mandarin.

 

Sukhdeep has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, NUS, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management SIM; Masters in Financial Engineering, RMIT; Executive Leadership Program, Oxford and a Certificate in FinTech, Oxford, and the Pearsons FT NED Diploma.

Qing has 12 years of investment banking experience. Prior to XCap Partners, Qing was an Executive Director at Investment Banking AeJ at Nomura, completing many landmark M&A, ECM and DCM transactions with significant experience in TMT, FinTech and FIG sectors. Before that, he was in FIG Investment Banking APAC at BNP Paribas, completing a number of cross-border M&A and IPO transactions.
